Open Question: Why can’t i finnish any of my stories?
lately i have hit this type of writers block. And its not that i cant think of anything to write its more like i can’t think of anyway to finish what i’ve already started.
And yet i keep coming up with these new ideas everyday. Sometimes i write three new beginings to a story in one day but i get to about the second or fourth paragraph and i just stop and can’t think of anything.
like for example these two i wrote yesterday
Icy winds passed by her, making her brown wavy hair fly in her face like a thin blanket. Devon brushed the waves behind her ear, and quickly placed her gloved hands back in her pockets as another chilling breeze flew on. She traveled through the woods on this snowy day with no reason other than she felt she should.
It was the woods behind her house, a long ranch like home. She could still see it as she turned around. It’s log cabin looking guest house was too the left of her view and to the right was her family. Sitting by a fire laughing and enjoying themselves, drinking beer as they huddled under their winter coats and thick jeans. Her mother and sister with scarves and her father and brother and his friends with beanie’s on to keep their heads warm.
The colors of their wardrobe all matched. They had browns and blacks, and greys, dull colors for a dull day. The sky was grey

and it just stops and i can’t think of anything, and the other one
High birch trees towered over the blond, she sat in the lonely woods, on a log she had pushed snow off of. Her feet had only just started to feel the cold around them and her hands were well hidden in the thick pockets of her brown winter coat.
She let out a sigh of mist and hunched over a little bit further. Her long blond hair, browning at the roots, fell in her face as she did. She swept the hair behind her ears with her colorful gloved fingers. Her blue eyes looked at the frozen lake in front of her. Piles of snow were off to the sides and a snow shovel stood erect from the ground just off to the side.
Feebly she held a bottle of Mike’s Hard Lemonade between her fingers, and she continued to stare. She felt her eyes growing dry and rubbed them slightly smearing the eyeliner she had on thickly. Her converse were getting damp with the thin layer of snow on the ground. It still showed the dead leaves that had fallen from the large trees.

Open Question: What did you think Miguel’s thoughts were?(HBO OZ)?
Do any of you think he was delusional about the idea of actually getting paroled out of Oz before and after he hit Ruiz? I mean, lets think through his percpective. He killed one guy out of cold blood. I’m not counting the other latino guy whos name escapes me. The one from season 3. That was purely self-defense. But he blinded a C.O. and killed one man in cold blood in front of everyone. What did he think was gonna happen. He was first sentenced to 2-15 years in prison. Now we never are given an update what his new sentence was but most likely it was life after the crimes commited later on. I’m facinated by his story because a part of me can somewhat relate. Not talking of killing people or anything like that. I was in the navy. Was 2 weeks away from graduating bootcamp until some fat F43k doctor pulled a file on me that I spoke to a therapist in my youth about my dad’s passing away when I was 10. Because I FORGTOT to tell them at meps(more like my recruiter said it was not important), he reccommended mefor seperation to the captain of RTC Great Lakes. I fought my case while in seperations with delusions that I was gonna win and go places. After I met with the douche bag captain, everything felt ok since I had a Petty Officer go to bat for me saying I was a good rectuit. After about 2 weeks, I was told I was going home. I felt the world crumble. Since then though, unlike Alvarez, Ive been going to school and such. Keeping busy. Unlike Alvarez, I see women all the time. I’m not in jail. That I’m thankful for. But what do you all think? Earlier that day he was all optimistic enjoying Ms Sally’s school yard thinking that he would get some from Mrs. Cutler and then having an ice cold meetig with Luiz? Also, do you think his mom and ex girlfriend Mariza knew he was in there for life?????

Open Question: If a loose dog comes up to me and my dogs are on leashes then mine harm it, who gets in trouble?
I’ve always wondered this. See last year I was walking my two dogs (one’s a German Shepherd, the other is a Pit/Shepherd mix) to the lake in our development and when I was walking past one of my neighbor’s houses, their black lab was loose and it was on the opposite side of the road from their house. It came up to us and the shit hit the fan. My dogs ripped their leashes out of my hands and I fell to the ground (I was only 16, plus I’m a very small framed girl haha), because it surprised them and came around the front of a car, and they ran after it like mad. No harm came to the dog and I got my dogs under control then walked right back home. No swimming for them that day haha. Anyway, I was wondering - if my dogs had harmed that dog, would I have gotten in trouble even though it was loose, my dogs were on leashes, and the people did nothing to try and get their dog to go back in their house? This kind of thing happens occasionally, dogs being loose while I walk mine. However this was the first incident where it got really out of hand, and I’m just curious. Thanks to anyone who answers!
