I am looking into buying a home and was stuck between two cities, Perris, CA and Lake Elsinore, CA. Perris has no HOA for the community but they have higher assessments at 2.2% but Lake Elsinore is at 1.25%. but has HOAs’ between $125 to $180 a month. What is better ?
I am looking into a new home in Perris, CA with the higher assesments they start at $170k. The homes with HOA fees are higher in value at $200k and up.
